Rena Sofer

  

Rena Sherel Sofer (born on December 2 1968) is an American actress who is known for her role in the daytime network, in episodic guest appearances and made-for-television movies. Sofer was recognized with an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her performance in the role of Lois Cerullo on the soap drama General Hospital. She was Quinn Fuller's role on the CBS soap show The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013-2022.




 Childhood and early life


 Sofer was born in Arcadia (California), the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) who works as a psychologist and Martin Sofer, who is an Orthodox Rabbi.




 Sofer moved with her brother David and her father to Teaneck (New Jersey) in 1970. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania as a youngster. They resided in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer lived in North Bergen, New Jersey in the town where her father was Rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. She attended North Bergen High School, and then went to Montclair State College.




 Career


 Television during the daytime


 Sofer first played Lois Marie Cerullo on General Hospital. In 1993, she worked as an administrator of a band. However, her first high-profile role was Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap opera Loving (1988-91).
